non-smoking DOGS
G’day Im summer and I’m 15. Sorry about the pic I’ve just had a bath and I’m having a bit of a bad hair day. Not that it really worries me that much cause I’m pretty much totally blind nowdays. Oh on that subject I’d better mention pretty deaf now too. Now don’t you worry about that I’ve got 3 “seeing eye humans” I’ve trained. All a dogs got to do is stand by the door and give one bark and one of them will carry me down thx stairs. A quick pee, a long sniff around then they’ll take me back up the stairs.... simple. Life has its moments, I’m still a great chicken chaser. I pretend not to notice them and let them get real close. Then a quick lunge lots a barking and the silly things flap thier wings and make a big racket. Then they make that sooky noise, silly things they are. Yawn... well that’s enough talking.... I’ve got sleeping to do...

Know any funny jokes or quotes ..
Gday i thought this was pretty smart A farmer died leaving his 17 horses to his 3 sons. When his sons opened up the Will it read: My eldest son should get 1/2 (half) of total horses; My middle son should be given 1/3rd (one-third) of the total horses; My youngest son should be given 1/9th (one-ninth) of the total horses. As it's impossible to divide 17 into half or 17 by 3 or 17 by 9, the three sons started to fight with each other. So, they decided to go to a farmer friend who they considered quite smart, to see if he could work it out for them. The farmer friend read the Will patiently, and after giving due thought. He brought one of his own horses over and added it to the 17. That increased the total to 18 horses. Now, he divided the horses according to their father's will. Half of 18 = 9. So he gave the eldest son 9 horses. 1/3rd of 18 = 6. So he gave the middle son 6 horses. 1/9th of 18 = 2. So he gave the youngest son 2 horses. Now add up how many horses they have: Eldest son 9 Middle son 6 Youngest son 2 TOTAL = 17 Now this leaves one horse over, so the farmer friend takes his horse back to his farm...... Problem solved!

Barley, anyone out there ever farmed ?
G,day Its been 40 odd years since I’ve had much to do with farming. Grew up on the rich black soil plains in northern NSW. Broad acre farming if the rains treated you alright. My uncle always grew a few hundred acres of barley as well as the thousands of wheat. If the season was good and the wheat gave you a profit the barley would be of a high protein level perfect for stock feed, but a lower price than wheat. If the season was bad the wheat yield down, the barley was stunted and the protein level down. That was the saviour as that ment it was perfect as malting barley and attracted a premium price to be shipped off, malted and turned into beer! And I don’t think farming has changed..... most of NSW is in deep drought as we speak. No big wheat crop and little feed for stock. There’s still a bit of bushy in me and Im praying like most for rain. A cyclone up nth becomes a deep low that heads west and soaks Qld and NSW. Might mean s flood but that’s how it goes. Either drought or flooding rains..... C

English... its all the same language... or is it.
Gday johnny... that’s a very Brit term. But same same. A rubber is a standard piece of naval issue. Has been since WW1. “Once deployed over the Barrrel of a standard weapon... be it Lee Enfield or Styre carbine, it protects the Weapon from water ingress. The first round fired destroys the water tight integrity requiring the “rubber” to be re-applied after the first action to retain effectiveness.” C

Post One Year Cravings
G’day A crave in week 1 of quiting is like stuffing a rat in a coffee can. You hold the lid down. As the oxygen level runs down that little rat/crave is in the fight for its life. Youve got hold of the lid. Are you letting go....No away are you letting that little sh1t out...... all in all it’s pretty draining. Your fighting for you life too. A craving at year one is like a wasp flying into you drink bottle. “ where the hell did that come from?” You’re not that stupid to think you can just release it. You know how dangerous that would be. Without another thought you screw the lid down and chuck it in the bin. Problem? What problem! it’s solved C

How To Do Nothing w/out a smoke
G’day My little saviour was a packet of tic tags. Just like a cig packet, I had something to carry around and worry about losing. I got to check the packet to make sure I wouldn’t run out before I could restock. Most important I could allow myself a little reward inside a building even among non smokers! And it was socially except able to offer them around. My blind friend got to recognise me by the fruity smell rather than the stinky smoke smell. I still keep a packet in my car... they are still my reward for staying calm in traffic without OD ing on to much sugar! C

We Don't Like Cricket - We Love It!
G’day Everyone likes to think diferent but when it comes down to it... it’s not just how well you bat it’s how well you bowl. India came with 3 bowlers that could consistently bowl over 140 km. A bit of moisture in the pitch. The results speak for themselves. Good on you India.... well played! Aussies... learn how ya lesson like a big boy. There’s always tomorrow.... C
