Beacon.....so sad.....it's hard to watch someone self distuct..... I feel the same about my friend ....I just hope one day she will join me.......but she is in huge denial.....

I rang this morning,she is doing very well....eating well.and gaining weight...... If she keeps this up,we may be able to bring her home at the weekend..... She will still need special care and plenty of cuddles.... But we're fine with that..... She will have to be neutered later on,when she is strong enough She is one strong young kitty ,she fought to stay alive..... My heart still breaks ...... If I ever find the person responsible.....I will give his tooth brush a good dunking....

My friend and I went to the local garage ,as she needed petrol and ciggies..... I said ...right.....you get the petrol....I'll run in for your ciggies..... It never bothered me at all....no craves ,no thoughts......nothing...... It wasn't till I sat back in the car ....I said.....wow......buying those cigs didn't bother me at all.... I was just glad it wasn't me parting with all that money......just to kill myself.....

Sue, If you just had a word with your family and tried to explain you are really doing your best to quit,and have joined a support group, Hopefully they will show their support.... I don't have this problem as tony carnt smoke ....... But there are some on here who partners still do...... This quit is about you....what you really want....... Try and stay as close to the board while he is home as much as you can..... You may surprise yourself...... Hugs Doreen
