Every once in a while we need to say again what are avatar is for, name means or nickname was for.... newer people don't know, we forget, or things change... so post something about your name, even if its just your real name (like mine is) tell us about your avatar, even if its just a real picture you took last year or ten years ago (mine is just anonymous, non threating, non serious, take what I say as slightly silly) in a day I will start picking on people who haven't posted something, renaming them proper..

I don't read fiction. Just rather learn something. I read how to books, manuals, history, or something I feel will teach me something. Just finished Mansfield Book of Manly Men It's a book of what a God filled man should know. How to act and qualities to display or possess. I thought from title it might be hokey but it was so good I think I may buy more copies to give to people at certain times. The cover sums is up "goal of book is simple, I want to identify what a genuine man does, the virtues, the habits, the disciplines, the duties, the actions of true manhood and then call men to do it. " Single moms- buy this for your young man. Married moms can to, and make the grown man read it first. It covers lots of subjects from humor, honor, friendship, self education but the important part is it is not a book of proving oneself superior to others including women. It even cover humility. The lesson is more you are your actions. He believes society has turned most men into something less than quality examples. Sports figures compared to men of character. Lots of examples and quotes.

I agree with everything except we don't have to do any of the growing up. It's not a requirement. I am still very immature at times and refuse to act my age. I can act responsible but given the chance I am the kid in the crowd of old farts. The guy who plays the radio a little too loud. Or has "one more" when with some friends and everyone starts yawning. I also peer pressure you into staying young with me. Nobody ever said we had to act old, just had to grow old. And I never listened to anyone say grow up. What's that mean? I am the Uncle who gives you fireworks too. I love messing with kids and getting them to be mischievous enough that everyone laughs. Party doesn't need to end but if it was stuck on disco we would all soon hate disco. Best to just keep moving and find next fun thing. Even if its poking fun at all you. Notice I didn't mention smoking. It was cool at time but not needed now. We know this best.
