  9. Good to see you again Joe :) Sorry to hear about your dog. That's a tough one :( Gone through that with pets and it's never an easy decision knowing what to do and when. I guess being busy is both good and bad. No time for some stuff but it does keep you younger I truly believe. You gotta have something to get up for each morning or you just .... don't want to get up!
  10. OO Yeah, me too :P
  11. OO Ummm ... there was a party?
  12. What's an app :P By the way; I think the Stoptober label is GREAT! Sort of in the same vein as Movember for prostate cancer awareness.
  13. WOW! Congratulations on reaching the 1/4 year smoke free milestone! That's fabulous when you can start measuring your quit in fractions of a year! Celebrate big today Jewel :)
  14. OK. I will take the breath test you told us you would administer after the party ended ......

  18. 5 Years Quit Bakon is something amazing and something to be very proud of! You are also a pretty unique member of this community, to say the least. I feel like I have learned another language since I joined this group and that's just from reading some of your posts. Always something to look forward to each and every day! Most of all though, thanks for all you contribute here. You have made a significant contribution to my quit and for that; I want to thank you :D So now, let the party begin!!!

  21. I also had pretty bad sinus issues for the first part of my quit. It was bad enough that it negatively affected my sleeping patterns for some time. That has since rectified itself but it took a while. I have to assume it was tied to my quitting because I had no issue before I quit. The chest constriction issue, I didn't experience myself but each person does experience different quit symptoms. If you are concerned about it, see your DR. about it so you can at least set your mind at ease :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
