  6. I'll say #3 is the absolute, B.S. Lie!! (lol). I don't think you are that bothered about their feed timing
  7. Already done. Peroxide & Polysporin are both must haves in my medicine cabinet because I always have some sort of medical emergency . The issue is that you need a razor sharp knife to fillet with. One "slip" & you're done (big time) -7
  8. Smoking affects so many aspects of our lives in a negative manner and we never even think about that as addicts. We use smoking to hide away from so many things in our lives. When we quit, it's sort of the same thing in reverse but all the effects are positive It's too bad we don't realize this before we quit or even in the early days of our quit. It's only after we've gone through the process that we actually get it! It's nice to enjoy life again the way it should be
  9. All done - got roughly 5 good meals for 2 out of those 3 fish The catching I like - The filleting; not so much Only cut one finger during the filleting process though -7

  15. Hey Roark! We all used smoking to hide from real life issues in some manner or other. Don't be sad for your past; be happy for your future because now you're quitting and that's something you can control!
  16. I'm not getting another ticker until they start representing the $$ saved with .....(wait for it) ........ Number of Coors Light Paid For After Quitting! (No worries Mighty. You'll get that one after you've been here awhile )
  17. Bullsh*t follows the money and there's big money in most sports. One of the reasons I like to watch the CFL (Canadian Football League). Not much $$ there. Most players have a "real job" off season and just play for love of the game. No BS in that league and games are often pretty exciting right down to the final seconds
  18. Congrats mighty!!
  19. Lol - just got a 503 error when I logged in now so, you're not alone
  20. Maybe? But I do know; neither of ours has budged since we changed them - lol. Not worth making a new on every day but it is nice as a new quitter to have one because it increases both pride in what you are accomplishing and strengthens your motivation for days ahead. For me, as B.B. King once said; "The Thrill Is Gone". It's hard for me to even imagine myself as a smoker now after a couple of years quit. Now when I look at the volume of cigarettes not smoked, I find that pretty shocking because in my head I immediately translate that number into the number of cigarettes I did smoke all those years I was a smoker and that's a crazy high number So, the moral of this story is, do whatever you have to to make this quit stick! We can't change the past but we CAN shape our future This is YOUR golden opportunity to do just that!
  21. +1 (waiting .............. for it).
  22. Geez! You must be wore out completely last two days of nothing but O's 1

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
