  1. Is that why you are "attention-whoring" so obviously? :)
  2. Congrats DD, way to go! :)
  3. Yes, indeed. And another thing - at first everything revolves around smoking, or more like not-smoking. Your first fight with a spouse you survive without smoking, your first beer, your random inappropriate cravings, as well as euphoria about the newly discovered awesome life as a non smoker. But at one point it gets old. And the more boring you become in your quit, the easier it gets. It just becomes more and more normal not to smoke. No more new realizations and epiphanies. There is no great victory anymore with cooking dinner without a cigarette in your hand. You don't even think about it anymore. Even if you get a bad craving once in a long while, as soon as it is over, it's over. As Annael said - at one point it's a distant memory that your smoked.
  4. It gets easier with time. I believe at one point it actually becomes easy.

That must be tough, no one deserves that. But you are still young, cancer at your age is not likely. You said yourself that they were throwing words around, maybe there was an alternative explanation? If you have the lab results, something to go on, you could do your own research for alternatives. Since they already gave you the cancer scare there isn't much harm in that and you might get some peace of mind. Hope everything goes well for you.

Stay away from the alcohol if that's easier for you, however I can vouch that alcohol is not the problem, TOO Much alcohol is. If you are anything like me, a glass of wine or two won't give you a giant craving, a bottle however might. Mix that with an exaggerated mood (too happy or too angry/sad) and you have a recipe for failure. Everything in moderation. We all day that "I'm so gonna stay away from alcohol", after a night like that. But then we are out eating Italian and that glass of red is just what we need. Again - drinking and being drunk are two different things. Get back on the horse and try again, you learn from your mistakes :)
  7. Ugh, creepy.. I would have locked myself in a room without the spider and waited until my partner rescues me. If there is one thing I'm terrified of it's spiders, even the tiny teeny ones. They say that killing a spider is bad luck, but we usually take our chances. You are brave, lol!
  8. Trish, whoever that person you need to talk to is and whatever the issue, they are not worth it to start/keep smoking and the issue won't be solved by smoking. I understand your reasoning, I have had the same reasoning too many times, I think at one point I was looking for things that suck and drama, just so I could justify lighting up to myself/others. I'm not saying that you don't have any of those, I'm sure you do, I'm just saying that maybe you fixate on the sucky parts too much for your own good. Cheer up, and be nice to yourself - keep trying. That's the only way you will find your sticky quit.
  9. As goes for PMS, there are a lot ladies that vouch for chaste berry :) To counter PMS, menopause, etc. What it does is simply help regulate your hormones. Also Lady's mantle tea and white nettles tea are good for these things :) Pick one and try to use daily. (My PMS is not any worse than it was before, it's there and I hate it. If only I would take my own advice and actually use any of these, but I'm forgetful and I can't get into the routine lol)

Sorry to hear that, Babs :/
  12. 6 months. Me and my partner had a deal - if I can quit smoking for that long, he will become a vegetarian too :) I guess he probably thought I wouldn't make it judging from my previous quits.

Action, her bottom doesn't justify casting her in movies she does not belong to all the time, lol. That's all there is to her - her ass :D

Why is everyone so obsessed with Scarlett Johansson? She's a mediocre to bad actress with mediocre looks. Overrated. Your avatar is tiny so I can't see much, but from what I can see I already like you better than Johansson.
  23. Happy for you, Robert! Congratulations! :)
