That sounds just awful. B obviously is a miserable human being who should have never had all these kids, but what's done is done huh? I didn't really understand the "you're the bitch" part, does your HB side with B? If so - maybe then really it's time to change things. You can not keep accommodating B and her failures, it's probably just as unhealthy to you as smoking. Perhaps you can take a break? I know that's what I would try to do. Take the kitten and go somewhere for a week to recharge and try to find the best course of action in peace. All the best to you, I hope everything works out somehow in the end :) You know that smoking ultimately doesn't change anything so please try again when your are ready :)

Haha, I hope it doesn't. I really do. I'm just gonna cling to that hope. Different Engine? I just don't want to spend money on stuff I might or might not be able to play right now. P.S. Ginger candy- ginger throat drops/lozenges?

  6. Yeah, ever since I went veggie I noticed I actually started cooking and trying different more interesting meals. As a carnist you usually settle for the ''Easy'' route, but in my experience (meat/wheat free) the more limited you are the more creative you have to get which results in only awesome things!
  7. A wonderful place you have there!
  8. That's good, it wasn't a personal attack, just an observation about this thread in general. About the ''free dog'' concept. By the way, there is nothing that wrong with paying for a breed dog under certain circumstances.

That I can't remember, but we kindly offered our seats (we were leaving already) to a couple in a restaurant this WE. That probably doesn't even count as a good deed :D When was the last time you picked up a new hobby?

Lake ofc. Still or sparkled water?
  14. I'm sorry you guys for your troubles, spending lots of money on doctor bills really sucks, but.. .. really? The ''free dog''? It's kinda cheap y' know. I'm all for ''don't shop, adopt'', if weren't for my cats I would do that myself. But I do believe that when deciding to get a dog from the shelter the low cost shouldn't be a deciding factor. Like ever. And if you do, one should never think of it as a ''free dog''. Sorry, it just looks bizarre. Try to imagine this same situation but replace the dogs with a ''baby''. I think no one would be here complaining that their ''free (or relatively free)'' baby is costing them a fortune through doctor bills.

    15! :D
  16. It's ok WYE and thanks. To be completely honest - I'm way too often bordering pescotarian (which is what I was before), it's easy and natural to say no to meat, it is no less than disgusting to me, but with fish/seafood it has never been so. Plus it's healthy (well, as healthy as it can be these days). I'm a terrible person for saying this, I know.

  24. Not sure what you mean with seasonal, don't think so. Not since I live here at least (which is for the paast 5 years or so). The summers are incredibly hot lately 30-37C at times, and that's the only extreme. It cycles through really hot days and stormy nights. This winter it snowed (just a bit) once during the night in .. March? I know I haven't experienced a real spring/winter in years, so it's not that different, the English weather is a bit more mild :)
