  1. NOPE….. just a normal day…. Like normal
  2. Is Wednesday 14th Jan a day off from pledging? 👀
  3. I am not going to smoke today. NOPE.
  4. Yes, that's right! The money you speant last year had you continued to smoke will pay for a relaxing getaway for you. I'm off for 2 weeks to the sunny, warm Caribbean for the next two weeks and no longer paying all that $$ for smokes every day is paying for this instead. Reward yourself with a trip instead of being a slave to nicotine👍
  5. Hi everyone! In 16 days on 01/29/26 I will be 5 years smoke free! I was able to quit cold turkey and haven’t picked up a cigarette or had a craving since. For anyone who is struggling through the first few months of quitting, you GOT this! Just keep reminding yourself of the reasons you’re quitting. Whether it be health, finances, family, whatever. Those reasons matter and you can make it! A little 5 year update on me. I’ve been smoke free (obviously), my daughter has not only graduated high school but will be graduating college early this fall with 2 bachelors degrees (SUPER PROUD), I’ve just celebrated a year dating my bf in December, I hit the gym about 5 days a week and after a long and frustrating road I’ve lost 75 lbs so far. I’m only about halfway through that journey but still…all good things going on!
  6. Totally agree! For many years, I've treated myself to neat vacays with my quit $$$ (now over a hundred grand)--currently chillaxing in the caribbean until my spring semester starts. Yesterday, I overheard a conversation in a beach bar about quitting, and offered some impromptu support. Have a great, well-deserved trip, Reciprocity--to everyone else don't forget to treat yourselves! Christian99 24 Years Quit
  7. That's fantastic @Amy R. It must be amazing to look back at what you've achieved! Not just the no smoking but your weight loss journey too! I can imagine you're super proud of your clever daughter! Reading posts like yours helps a lot with those of us who are in the early stages (like me). I'll 2 weeks smoke free tomorrow. I will admit, January is a dreary month anyway but this takes the biscuit lol Well done and thank you for sharing your journey and giving some of us hope to keep going! 😊
  8. G’day NOPE .....Not One Puff Ever.
  9. Have a wonderful time @Reciprocity I hope you're having a wonderful time too @Christian99!
  10. Enjoy your vacation Reciprocity. And you too Chris. 🌴 I am surprised how quick the saved money adds up. Somehow it impressed me more than the huge amount I'll save a year.
  11. Have a great time!!😀
