  8. The cravings really DO hit hard don't they! I'm glad you didn't cave in! It's good your wife is also going down the path of possibly quitting in the near future, it will be good for both of you. You've so many more benefits to gain from quitting and giving in to your cravings will just make you feel horrible, not just physically but mentally too. You can do this!!
  9. Make this your final quit so you're not putting yourself through the first few days/weeks of quitting over and over as it's not worth that! I'm glad you haven't given up fighting this and try to remember you will feel less stressed when you are free from nicotine! I wouldn't have believed it before quitting but it's very true! Looking forward to you letting us know you're 24 hours smoke free!
  10. Well done on one month free @Pilgrim Keep it up, you're doing amazing!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
