  21. @GonSo Well done , Its fabulous when the money starts mounting up … I bought my Ted when I saved up enough when I Quit He costs me £500 Money well spent

  23. Love this positive reinforcement, @Rockangel! The other thing I do when I hear the siren song of temptation is to review the list of lies that our addict brains use to trick us into thinking that smoking is okay. Whoppers like, "Just one won't hurt..." or "I'm only hurting myself..." John Polito wrote a great essay about them. Excerpts here:

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
