February 18, 20179 yr Hello Everyone, My name is DeeDee. Today is my 2nd day as a non-smoker. I've been smoking for 36 years...minus a year or two that I quit. I am approaching my trigger time which is about 4:00 p.m. Just wanted to stop in and say hello before I go find something else to do. So far so good. Thanks for listening. See you on day 3 !
February 19, 20179 yr Hello DeeDee :D Congrats on your decision to quit smoking and take back your life! Please stay close to this community as you move forward. I have found that it's a real help to have others around you who are going through the same process. It isn't easy and you really need to want to stay quit to make it long term. It does get better though the longer you can stay smoke free. Remember - Not One Puff Evere! Go to the NOPE pedge each day and remind yourself why you have made this decision. You can do it!! Read as much as you can on this board. You'll find a lot of people going through the same things you will be. Learn from their mistakes, lean on people here for support and keep your desire to stay quit strong. We can support you but only you can actually do it.
