Sometimes the road is long and bumpy but as long as I keep walking it.....I will reach the end

I never knew that the road to quitting could be so long and difficult, but my determination to keep walking it and reach my destination is strong, same road, hopefully no more junctions, eyes ahead.  I deal with bereavements at my place of work and on Monday I had to register the passing of a young lady.........49 she was...............Lung cancer, my age...........she died in her husbands arms, my quit began there and then........................this time I really do not want to look back

Ok, good to hear. You know we are here to support you Jackie Athena. I am glad you are back here.

Sweetheart....you CAN do this...

Take your seat....first class....by the window....and enjoy the journey to freedom.....

Take away all those dark clouds....the what ifs......

We are here for you.....one rule only.....

Never stick anything in your mouth and light it.....

Let's get the job done ...you and the quit train team....

Hugs xxxx

"hopefully no more junctions" = Wrong

"There will be no more junctions" = Right

"This time I really do not want to look back"= Wrong

"I will not look back" = Right

it is sooooo mental.  Gotta be a badass.

Keep on keepin on.

Re-reading this written with a different attitude makes more sense...............thank you  :)

Some people take a few times but then quit for good I have noticed. I was just congratulating someone who took this path. ....you can do this now.

right now I am on vacation and it seems like everyone is smoking around me. It is really smelly but sometimes I would like to sit in a cafe and have one. But too bad because I do not smoke now. Ever. So I move on. The big pay off comes later

Sarge really doesn't know how to say this but here it is: There ain't no end. The road goes on. Even after we're long gone, right?
