June 4, 201511 yr :dash2: :My son (he'll be 34 July 1) has been living with me for 2 yrs, for almost a yr he would let his temper flair & that's scary like living with his dad & my 2nd ex. Anyway he moved out 2 wks ago & I feel bad saying this BUT I'm soooooooooo relieved, no more hiding in my room, no more big electric bills etc. I'm NOT happy that he left me holding the bag for $1500 but by doing so they'll be no more running to mom's house when unemployed or booted out by the wifey etc. :dash2: :Live & learn.
June 4, 201511 yr I don't think that's rude at all. Living with anyone with an unpredictable nature is exceptionally hard work! Enjoy your freedom now and do not let him back for all the tea in China. Peace at last. x
June 4, 201511 yr Author Thanks everyone for your posts-I'm done being a doormat.
June 4, 201511 yr Perfectly understandable Beth... I remember from last year what it is like to have your home invaded by relatives who won't leave!
June 4, 201511 yr Not rude at all, heck yes to freedom! Look at all of the good things happening for you! Eyesight, heart health, getting your house back! Heck yes Beth!!
June 4, 201511 yr Oh no, not rude by any means. We love our kids, but that does not give them permission to run all over us. He's a big boy and can take care of himself now. Time for Beth to have some peace of mind :)
June 4, 201511 yr Heard something to this effect just yesterday....You have to love them enough to let them fail. Glad you're feeling better.
