I hope he's not trying to bread with them Fluffy.... I think you have the King Rat... or maybe all the rain has turned him into a water rat... they are bigger than normal rats.

I've moved one hutch and am in process of completely rat proofing it.. havin a break cos it's peeing down again and I'm also giving the squirrel some time to gather more ammo to throw at me.. Cos I'm thoughtful like that ?
