the story behind me running this particular race is twofold - My mom's birthday is April 18th (same day as race) her sister

passed away several years ago on April 18th - my mom considered it a birthday gift as my Aunt was suffering from Cancer

So for me it is really a great way to Honor that date in particular - 

 

If anyone wants to make the trip to join DD and I that would be so much fun - just let us know plenty of room at the inn.

I run because I have friends who have battled breast cancer. I ran for Mrs. Bakon last year and I am going to run for Mary (Nancy's sister) this year. :)
