Today I said Goodbye To My Boy Ted x

Featured Replies

I'm so sorry for the loss of your handsome boy Ted @Doreensfree  💔 Ted passing in your arms gave him the comfort, safety and love that he deserved in his final moments. The loss of our furry friends is so heart breaking. They sure do leave paw prints on our hearts. 💕

I know nothing I say will help right now but know that I'm thinking of you and I understand the loss and heartache you're feeling.  Fly high Ted 💘

Sorry to hear this, Doreen.   I'm thinking and praying for you in this time.  Just really sorry to hear this.

So sorry to hear this D 😢 I know he meant the world to you - such a heart breaking loss.

Let memories of happy times spent with him and the knowledge that you gave him his best life comfort you at this sad time of loss.

Thinking of you at this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss of your beloved Ted.😪

Gday Doreen

Im sorry for Ted’s passing.

The simple truth is we outlive our mates.

But we swear no one can ever replace them.
But a pet comes along that needs us. Picks us.

It … she… him will find you.

Not a Ted clone…. But they seem to find us.

A secound hand pet. Never what I plan.
Can’t seem to find the perfect designer pet.

But it hey find us.

Hang in there

Thank you everyone for your kinds words

I’m still blubbering 🥲

Want to share this and get it out

First time in 12 years I considered that cigarette.

I gave myself a good talking too, today

I’m off to NOPE for a few days

❤️

I kind of wondered if this tragic event might cause a few thoughts of smoking as somking was always our comfort zone when significan events happened suddenly in out lives.

Glad you had that talk with yourself! Just goes to show no matter how long we've beeen quit, we must always be on guard!

Oh, Doreen!  My heart is breaking for you...he was your faithful companion for a long time.  Praying for peace and comfort for you, dear friend.  I wish I could be there with you.  All my love and prayers.

'Smoking is off the table, no matter what', a quote from a certain Doreen.

I know it hurts a lot. Smoking does not take your pain away. You know that.

I hope that firm talk to yourself will help. Otherwise you have to use your frying pan....

Oh No, so Sorry to hear this sad news Doreen, our fur babies really are our children, and companions.

i know that feeling, been through it a few times myself, and the grief is devastating,

Big hugs for you, and know you gave Ted the absolute best life full of love.

My dearest @Doreensfree. I am so sorry. No words can adequately capture the hole that this leaves in your heart. It hurts because of your deep capacity for love. But it’s still such a wrenching loss.

We love you, and we’re here for you. I can relate to the urge to pick up smoking again when faced with grief.  But down deep you know that losing your quit won’t bring him back, or mend your broken heart. Keep your quit, and keep those good memories. ❤️
