August 10, 201412 yr Tracey..in the pics you posted,..I noticed you have the same shoes on at the airport as you do at the fair...you REALLY need to do some shopping...lol... I will hook you up with my youngest daughter and she will help you out ;) We moved her yesterday from Michigan to Columbus... here is a shot of her closet as we started to remove the boxes of shoes..she has it down to a science... (btw..she gave her sister about 15 pairs that she no longer "needed"..and another couple large boxes already packed away).. I can count about 45 boxes in this pic, and the shelf is "L" shaped, so there is at least that many on the back wall...if not more  Ok..this pic is only a portion of the closet...AND only 1 of 5 she had in her previous apartment! I would guess she has well over 100 pairs...more likely approaching 200!.. I gotta say, she was 100% organized and ready for the move..We left our house about 6am and got to her place around 8...everything was boxed up and ready to go...she rented the moving truck the day before and it was ready to go also...we were loaded and on the road by 11am...3-3 1/2 hrs later we were at her storage garage she had rented, unloading all the stuff she couldnt fit at her new place...from there, to her new place and unloaded...I had the truck returned and they had things (kinda) put away by 6pm....2 hr drive later (8..-8:30pm) me and my wife were home... so...a lot accomplished in 12-14 hrs..we are glad she is closer to home and not so close to Detroit ..No offense to anyone who lives there...but, we are from a small town in Ohio and when my daughter said she was moving (near) Detroit, all I did was worry about her..because ..like most people, I have heard a lot of negative things about the motor city... This is about the 20th time I have helped one of my daughters move.(seriously)..well..counting when they would move back and forth from college...I told Kristin (my youngest daughter) a couple of years ago, that the only way I would help her move her AGAIN was if she was moving out of Michigan...lol...she reminded me of that comment whenever I complained about moving another daughter AGAIN...lol

August 10, 201412 yr OK ladies, how the hell do you know what shoes are in which box? If you needed the shows from the bottom row, you have to remove all the boxes above? Or do you simply buy the shoes, wear once, and then put them away and never wear them again? I have 2 pairs of shoes (both black), and 3 pairs of trainers - 1 white, 1 black and an old pair that I wear when fishing. Choosing weather to wear black or white trainers is hard enough - how do you choose when you have 200+ pairs?!

LOL..thats exactly what I asked my daughter...she said she has worn each pair.......at least once!......the front of the box has images of whats inside..but I still say it is ridiculous to have that many pairs of shoes :P She is a manager for a women's clothing store (Charlotte Russe.. just transferred to Polaris Fashion Place..a 2 level mall in Columbus) Thats why the boxes are mostly pink...she gets a discount...lol...Still no excuse for having that many.. I tell her she needs intervention :help: here is a link to the stores website...scroll to the bottom, and you will see that my daughter has taken her job to heart...lol http://www.charlotterusse.com/index.jsp?affiliateCustomId=&source=PJ_AD%3Az%3ACHIC&clickId=995245953&affiliateId=108769&cid=afl

August 13, 201412 yr I have shoe envy now!! And actually, organisation envy too lol. By the way action you simply slide the box out and restack it on the top. You simply NEED more shoes then 5 pairs dude. Off to lovingly peruse and caress my shoe collection now haha
