Sugar Britches was talking the other night and said: "We're going to have two under two." Some parts of parenting can be planned for, the rest is all on-the-job training.
December 16, 20214 yr Author No worries Boo....you've rode those white water rapids ....😁 Plus you have a Train full of folks who will always help you along ... Youv,e got this ❤

Will she take to him immediately or have to warm up to him over time? Really no way of knowing until Jackson makes his big move. Maddie is good with Cash. She loves that dog. She also tugs on his tail, pulls his ears, and tries to ride him like a horse. My first piece of advice to Jackson: watch your back little buddy.
March 1, 20224 yr Author Hey Mr Fixit... I've found the perfect learning toy for Jackson ... He ll soon be helping you with your building tasks on Boonaza..😁🐸

She absolutely loves it when Cash hits that spring door stopper. He paws away at it. It makes a funny noise. And she laughs hysterically every time he does it. It doesn't take much to keep us entertained here at Boo Acres.

I got myself a bit wound up at times when Sugar Britches was pregnant with Maddie...things worked out well in that case. Counting down the days to Jackson's big debut.
March 10, 20224 yr Omg.. just realised I've missed creating an important thread...off to do my thang.
April 1, 20224 yr OMG, I have been absent. I haven't missed the big second event. I loved watching you love and grow with Maddie. Jackson will look up to you and be like daddy. Always remember you can only have success with us ladies guiding you along!

I'm focused and scatterbrained at the same time. As my grandfather used to say: "I'm not sure if I should scratch my watch or wind my ass."

She is very, very pregnant now. And Maddie, our little comedian, pushes her stomach out and walks funny. Sometimes she puts a little ball under her shirt, holds her belly and says "ma-ma." I'm trying to be on my best behavior, meanwhile Maddie is playing it for laughs. That kid is going to get us both in trouble.
April 1, 20224 yr I know you already do it but spoil Sugar Britches. It is really uncomfortable right now. Get or make her favorite food and snacks. Rub her feet, shoulders and back. Make a list of things you may have forgotten to be ready for Jackson. Make sure you are stocked with toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies. Make sure the pantry, fridge and freezer are full. You have done this before, you a have a good idea of what is needed. Thing is this time, you have Maddie, newborn Jackson and Mom to look after. The more prepared you are, the smoother things will go when Jackson arrives. Last thing is to get some special things for Maddie. Just little things you can bring out to her, she needs to feel special as well, while adjusting to being a big sister.
