Maybe a hammock will come in handy ...maybe sneak a odd snooze now and then .I doubt it .😁 We have a hammock in the backyard. The idea was: a nice place to take a little pause for the cause. The new reality is: Maddie treats it like a swing. She rocks back-and-forth. She bounces up and down. An energetic and curious toddler will really keep you on your toes.

She held one up to her mouth but inhaled when she should have exhaled. We got all of the seeds out of her mouth. I assured Sugar Britches that dandelions are not toxic...she checked the internet anyway.
October 25, 20214 yr When I was about Maddie's age we were on a family holiday staying at a motel and I walked out brushing my teeth with the dunny brush....reckon the dandelion was a better option.

That girl will take stuff out of the kitchen cabinets like she's being paid by the unit.
November 11, 20214 yr Just a note, my sister was the first born, tons of pictures, one professional portrait of her in a little pink tafetta dress. Me, not so many pictures, none professional and none in a pink little dress. Mom says it was because I was born in France (military family). I could be crazy but I think they had cameras and pink dresses in France. Never have gotten over the hurt. When Mom got sick, guess who took her in, cooked 3 meals a day to order, always had dessert on hand. She even wanted dessert after breakfast. Gave baths, cut her hair and nails, medication, took care of accidents (yep I mean what you think) did the laundry, changed the bed, watched the Price is Right, Let's make a Deal and the news about four hours a day because Mom could not remember what she just watched. I still don't have that picture in a little pink dress. I am not bitter about taking care of my Mom, I am bitter about the missing picture. If you have another girl make sure you do everything for her just like for Maddie. It could be true about 2nd children but I would make sure the second would make sure they are are loved the same as the first. I was not lucky enough to be blessed with the second. K
November 12, 20214 yr I am just laughing out loud about the baby hanging upside down. My husband was the youngest of 4 boys. He would tell me the story of when he was little one of the older brothers would do this to him. He had some trauma over the incidents, he never discussed this with his brother. It came up a a family reunion and it turned out to be the wrong brother he was upset with. It was the so called angel child that dangled him. Just shows you really need to keep an eye on all of them, all the time. Everything was fine, we laughed until we cried. K

I was the second born in my family. And just look how awesome I turned out. Seriously though, there really wasn't that much sibling rivalry between me and my sister. Aside from the typical little brother stuff (sneaking up and hitting her with a Star Wars lightsaber, making farting noises to embarrass her, etc., etc.) we never had much trouble between us. Fortunately, we still have a good relationship to this day.
November 12, 20214 yr Author Well..... I was the only girl with 2 elder brothers ...by 5 and 4 years ... Oh Boy did those guys get me into trouble .... Was I daddy,s little girl who got away with murder ....not a chance ...he always took thier side ... We do laugh about it now ....😁
November 12, 20214 yr After my mother in law had 4 boys she finally got her girl, she was spoiled by Mom but my husband was Dad's favorite. Mom changed over to my husband as they grew up. They knew they could count on my sweet no matter what. He stayed true to this all his life. My MIL passed a week after my husband I believe from a broken heart. I did not get to speak to her with everything happening until she was already in a coma, I hope she knew I was there. K
