First day of no smoking thoughts.

Featured Replies

Okay, it took over 4 months to get here but it finally happened. Last night as I was going to bed I shut down the computer and remembered I didn't check the smoke board. As I turned out the light it occurred to me I couldn't remember one time during the day that I thought about smoking.

Of course the Demon Universe made me pay for it today by throwing me a 9 on the 10 scale crave, but remembering yesterday I just told the crave to stuff it.

I'm looking for the next milestone where I see  myself to be one who doesn't smoke anymore as opposed to one who is quitting smoking.

This is awesome Comrade.  OK, so you still have thoughts, but they are few and far between.  Progress indeed.

Way to go Simba - I think that it's day with no thoughts is the most important milestone - massive congratulations ! a0d0423989cfe63dbac86525c36d6b54_zpsff34

good to see  :) tell it to get lost and show who is boss

That is awesome!  You are rounding the corner for sure.  :)

Really pleased for you!!  Also pretty happy to read this about yesterday, but not today, that sucks! Sorry you got payback craves comrade but you now you can face those down. Big milestone overall tho, happy for you. x

Great to see this, my smoking thoughts are getting fewer and less severe all the time.

That's a great point in your quit to reach, congratulations!

Comrade, at nine months I find that the thoughts have faded except when I am driving. The diea of being a former smoker is still there but I know it is getting better and better day by day,  Today I saw someone smoking and it struck me as odd how someone had a burning stick hanging out of their mouth.

Progress, just brilliant. You'll soon recall that you have gone a whole week without thinking about cigs, then months.
