July 12, 20215 yr Well it was a happy day but sad day and tough!!! I spent the afternoon with my dear friend that has cancer, some of you know I have mentioned her many times. She is at home now. She really is declining pretty fast. She is still in good spirits and her faith is so strong which is great for her. But I really struggle with my faith at times like this. She is such an amazing person and has so much to live for it just does not seem right. So folks make sure to live each day to the fullest and tell the people you love and how much they mean to you because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. It can change so fast .And when I spend time with her it reminds me of this. I cherish every moment I get to spend with her. It reminds me of the song by Tim McGraw (Live like you were dying) So don't put off enjoying your life to the fullest. Because we are spiritual beings living a human experience, so enjoy it while were here!! 🤗🤗😇 😪
July 12, 20215 yr I'm sorry this is happening to your friend Linda, but thank goodness you are able to spend time with her. I know it means the world to you to be able to and I'm sure the same goes for her. You are being a great friend Linda, just know that....🫂

I remember when my grandfather was dealing with the cancer that eventually took him from us. Those visits from family and friends meant a lot to him. Good friends are a treasure. You are a great friend Linda.
July 13, 20215 yr Well said! Unfortunately, loss is part of life. I spent this afternoon visiting my son-in-law’s grave at Arlington, and shedding some tears, remembering that terrible loss to my only daughter and her 3 babies. The kids were all still in diapers, when Tony was killed in action, in Afghanistan. That was more than 10 years ago, and it still hurts. All we can do is soldier on and be the best versions of ourselves that we can. But we should never forget those we have lost or how much we loved them.
July 13, 20215 yr I just talked to a friend yesterday . To my surprise a musician friend passed away suddenly , not old either , in his sixties . Heart attack and just like that he was gone . There will be beautiful singing 🎤 In heaven .He loved his music . Indeed life has sad moments .

He was a wonderful singer, but , more importantly, a wonderful man. He died suddenly , of a massive heart attack, at 63. Ironically, I was 3000 miles away from him, visiting my daughter and grandchildren, when I got THAT phone call. Life is precious, and so is love… Cherish both!
July 13, 20215 yr Sorry for your loss Katgirl .. and Linda sending you some gentle hugs 🤗 as well in this difficult time .
