I mean most of the crocs in the the area are only Johnstone River freshwater buggers and they are just itty bitty..... Katherine George (which the Daly runs through) is amazing, and you can get up close and personal with rock paintings that are over 30 million years old... the Katherine River and the Flora river are tributaries of the Daly..

Although, I have to admit, if I go to Australia and a local tells me: "Don't worry mate, they're just little crocodiles"...I'm gonna be left asking myself: "Wait a second, are they just f**king with me?"

Aah .... learned well you have young padawan. Probably better rafting down south...and no crocs either...although the Tully in QLD has grouse white water rafting. If you were going to journey down here for a rafting holiday I'd defo recommend hitting Tassie but also you'd be crazy not to go to NZ too, she might be teeny tiny but NZ has amazing rivers.
