I've been swimming in both the Katherine River and the Flora River. 🤯

These ladies attributed their success in the pool to hard work, dedication, and learning to swim in water full of shit that's trying to kill you.

So @Boo ... you aint gunna sign up for the Douglas-Daly-Katherine River white water experience? I mean most of the crocs in the the area are only Johnstone River freshwater buggers and they are just itty bitty..... Katherine George (which the Daly runs through) is amazing, and you can get up close and personal with rock paintings that are over 30 million years old... the Katherine River and the Flora river are tributaries of the Daly..

Sounds like a good bit of fun to me.

Although, I have to admit, if I go to Australia and a local tells me: "Don't worry mate, they're just little crocodiles"...I'm gonna be left asking myself: "Wait a second, are they just f**king with me?"

Aah .... learned well you have young padawan.

Probably better rafting down south...and no crocs either...although the Tully in QLD has grouse white water rafting.

If you were going to journey down here for a rafting holiday I'd defo recommend hitting Tassie but also you'd be crazy not to go to NZ too, she might be teeny tiny but NZ has amazing rivers.

He would probably put me in the front ...hoping they see me first ....

I remember the first trip to Oz I had ..and went on a little boat trip up some canal ...and let my hand ripple through the water like the Cadbury Flake girl ...lovely .....

Until the guide bloke said ....Hey Ma,am  !!!!....put your hand back in the boat .......Oops !!!!

Hank Patterson offers up helpful advice about dealing with dangerous wild animals: "You're gonna want to stay the f**k away from it."
