So if you believe the urban myth.... my gender prediction is on the money.... although the science does not support this, it is a busted myth truth be told... however in my family with the exception of one cousin... anyone over 140bpm around the 10-12 week mark were born without little dingle dangles..
January 2, 20206 yr What about old wive,s tales 8. It’s a boy if… You pick up a mug by its handle. Yes, that really is one. So if you’re desperate for a little girl you might have to start clenching teacups between your teeth to get your caffeine fix. Please just be aware of hot liquids. 9. It’s a girl if… The hair on your legs is growing normally. Could not possibly say what abnormal leg hair growth is but we’re slightly scared now.
January 2, 20206 yr Is boy bellies are basketball shaped and girl bumps are watermelons or vice versa?
January 17, 20206 yr Author Baby Boo is coming on strong. Weighing in at approximately six-ounces and measuring 13.4 centimeters, the little one did some growing over the last month. The doctor explained that the baby's spine is forming and baby is getting a little fat on the body. Also found out today that Baby Boo's ears are where they're supposed to be now and the wee one can hear voices and sounds. The lovely and talented Sugar Britches continues to be a champ through the pregnancy. She's in great shape physically. The only symptom she's dealing with right now are occasional bouts of feeling light-headed. Her energy levels are good and her appetite is back. I was a little concerned earlier, she would get very queasy and couldn't stand to eat much. Those days are behind us now, mama and baby are getting the nutritional sustenance they need to be strong and healthy. Next visit to the doctor is February 20. This will be the first appointment in the second-half of the pregnancy. Also the appointment where we likely found out the gender of the baby. Good times.

Sugar Britches is doing a grand job ....nice to hear she is blooming as they say..... And Papa Boo has projects lined up. No chance of boredom setting in around here. I'm going to start building the crib tomorrow. Picked up the lumber yesterday and made a trip over to Ace Hardware this afternoon for wood nails, screws, wood glue, brackets and various other assorted woodworking sundries. A friend of mine at work has a woodshop at his house. He started as a hobbyist and has become a craftsman. He has offered to help and said I could have access to any of his tools I need. It's good to know people... I researched different styles of cribs and found one that I really took a liking to. Showed Sugar Britches some pictures and she really liked the style as well. We're going with a "farmhouse crib" and later I'm going to build a matching changing table. An idea of what the finished project will look like...

January 28, 20206 yr Hey Boo !!!! How the cot coming along ?????..... When you have built the nursery one,we will need one to go with us on the water ...you better get a move on ..
January 28, 20206 yr Author 8 hours ago, Doreensfree said: Hey Boo !!!! How the cot coming along ?????..... The bed frame, legs, and cleats are finished and ready to be set up. I've finished building the side walls. The front wall is the only one with railing, so that made the job pretty simple. I'm gonna sand the walls one more time, I've been downright obsessive with the sanding on this project. After that, start finishing the wood. I did a temporary set-up and everything fit together nicely, right angles and straight lines all-around. The actual assembly of the crib will be a simple process. I'm building a changing table next, then...I'll decide what project to start after that.
January 28, 20206 yr Wow !!!!.....youv,e done heaps.....never expected that.... What a massive sense of pride ,when you see the finished item .....exciting ...💙

I'm enjoying the building projects. Finished the bookshelf a couple of months ago. The crib is all but finished and the changing table will be a relatively straight-forward job. I'm looking at five months of nervous anticipation...I need to keep myself busy.
