I left the house specifically to buy smokes.  After I bought them I couldn't get the wrapper off quick enough.  Then I stuck one in my lips and time seemed to come to a crawl.  I looked in my rear vie

What did you do for work before your current job?

Have you ever baked anything?

Well, that's an interesting question.  I once baked cookies and they were too thick so I flipped them with a spatula.  They were burned and still uncooked in the middle.  I've since learned how to make a proper chocolate chip cookie.  I had to learn because there is some kind of law or something about kids and baking cookies with them

Do you do housework? Laundry?  :soldier:

Yes.  My Mom taught me and my brothers how to do laundry when we were still little punks in middle school.  I love to vacuum with my Dysons and own two of them (one is for the basement).  I also love to use my steam cleaner on the carpets.  I am a neat freak.  My garage mirrors my house in many ways.  I cannot stand to wake up to a messy house.  I like to wake up and come home to a clean house.  I don't always get my way because of 3 little kids.  They don't seem to find much enjoyment in a neat house. lol

I had a job where I traveled a ton and did U.S. Patent administration and enforcement all over the United States (mostly in New England) and all over Canada from Niagara Falls north and all the way over to British Columbia.

Tell the truth: Have you ever given a Dyson demonstration to company in an effort to justify the cost?  :unknw:

(I could sell those things!!)

If you had to choose - what is your favorite Alex and Sierra song?

Do you think Alex looks better with, or without a hat on?

Did you know they just finished their first single a few days ago?

Would you drink my coffee if I made it in a Mr. coffee 20 minutes ago?

Yes, of course.  Got into a heated argument with a guy at work over it.  He said his wife knew more about vacuums than I did and I flat our told him that her little Hoover or whatever it was he was bragging about, was not cleaning their carpets very well.  True story. lol

These questions are bananas.  Why ask what I already toled you?

What were you thinking the last time you relapsed?  What were you thinking when u smoked your last cigarette?

I left the house specifically to buy smokes.  After I bought them I couldn't get the wrapper off quick enough.  Then I stuck one in my lips and time seemed to come to a crawl.  I looked in my rear view and saw myself and thought how stupid I looked.  I thought about my quit, my quit buddies and knew I was making mistake.  But I also thought that I enjoyed smoking.  Once I lit it, everything Allen Carr said I realized was true for me.  I didn't get any enjoyment from any single puff that I took from that pack.  I was analyzing, waiting for that joyous reunion with my old friend, but he stood me up.

When I smoked my last cigarette I was at work.  My initial thought when I put out my last cigarette was I didn't really know if it would really be my last.  It wasn't until I sat and reflected on those cigarettes and realized that not only did I don't enjoy them like I previously thought (or erroneously thought I had), I was still left with the same mess that I thought smoking would help me cope with.  It did nothing to help my situation and I was left with the consequence of blowing a 9 month quit and becoming very close to a full blown addiction again.

Beef ribs, slowly cooked.  I need to get a new grill though.  Going to buy a Weber this time.

Have you considered  The Big Green Egg?  Yummy!

MQ. Why the Quit Train?

Good question!

The first reason why I chose train is because of training.  Training our minds and ourselves for a new life of freedom.  The second reason for train is because a large locomotive is unstoppable.  Get on the wagon, get on the train.

A friend of mine and previous roommate was in the 2012 Olympics in London.  He uses Train after his name for his logos, shirts etc.  So, picking the name Quit Train™ has some personal relevance to me because he's truly was and continues to be an inspiring person in my life.

We got a Weber last week and I love it!!!

I bought a Weber yesterday after I got home from work and put it together last night.  Will be cooking on it this evening.  Which one did you get?   I got the Genesis E-330.

Just putting it together I could tell the difference in quality from my Char-Broil.  Night and day.

We originally bought the E-330, but Lowe's delivered the E-310, and took away our old (Char-Broil).  When I called, they were then out of stock on the E-330, so we ended up with the stainless steel S-330 for the same price!!  $150.00 upgrade!  Oh yes, you can tell the difference in quality just by lifting the lid.

Can't beat that!  I love the copper color that I bought.  I'm hoping that the baked on   When I was putting it together, the pieces were very sturdy steel and cast vs sheet metal found on lower quality grills.  I never thought I would drop $800 on a grill, not to mention the extra stuff that I bought for it, but when you go through a grill every 3-4 years, the extra money is worth it. The stainless steel burners and tubes will last probably 10 years long time if kept clean.  As I was putting it together, I was looking for parts that they cheaped out on and other than some cheap washers, I found nothing.  The firebox will last a lifetime and will not ever rust.  I can seriously see this grill lasting 25 years with replacing the burners only every 10 years or so.  What more can you ask for?

I was at Home Depot today and saw some Char-Broils outside on display for sale that were already showing some signs of rust.

I initially wanted the copper color...it it beautiful.  Oddly enough, that one does not have a version to use with natural gas, and that is what we have...

Ah, N/G.  We don't have that here or else that is what I would have gotten as well.  I can always convert it to N/G later on if they ever run N/G lines where I live.
