aw.  Sweet critter.  I hope she will be the spectacular three legged wonder in short time.  Really sorry, Frez.  Keep us posted and hang in there, love her up while you can.

Keeping you and Lady in my thoughts tonight. Hope the outcome is what is best for all and there is an amazing 3 legged dog on the mend in no time.

She is out of surgery sans one leg and a few lymph nodes....doing fine has a drain in that we have to bring her back on Tuesday to remove....we get to pick her up tomorrow after 1pm

So relieved that all is going well.  Hugs and prayers.

Give Lady an extra big hug from everyone here.

Speedy recovery to your sweet lady.  I had a friend whose dog lost an eye and she did really well but what I remember most is my friend saying she was not going to apply human values to her dog's condition. To us, amputation of a limb has all sorts of other repercussions besides the physical readjustment. For a dog, however, it's likely mostly just that. Lady will not be lamenting how she looks when this is all over. She'll be working out how to balance herself, get around, eat, etc,. We can learn a lot from our 4 (or 3) legged friends!  Hope all goes smoothly, Lisa!

Just gave her some pain meds she is hiding in the kennel I am sure that's cause she feels safe in there from the other pups and can be alone and rest....i was worried about appetite but she ate a slice of cheese so I think she is just recovering.....i put the extra kennel mat in there to double up the cushion for her
