Prayers for the victims of today’s senseless attack on Toronto pedestrians!

Senseless. My thoughts are with those affected.

There are no words. And Canada, really, everyone loves  Canada... In my thoughts and prayers, those families affected, the first responders, Toronto and Canada. When will this shit stop.

It's Canada, as Jo said everybody loves Canada... Thoughts are with all those affected by this senseless act of violence..

Seems this guy was just a nut-bar. No indication of any Political Terror stuff going on for this one.

I can't believe the cop took this guy down without a shot even fired after the guy put his hand in his pocket and told the cop he had a gun. Cop said "I don't care!" and kept his gun trained on him telling him to get on the ground. Guy pulled out a cell phone and made like he was aiming it at the cop. Cop still didn't shoot him - wow! Can't say I would have had that kind of restraint.

The accused was in court this morning for official charges. Haven't heard what they are yet but suspect multiple 1st degree murder charges. I just hope they don't let him off on an NCR basis (Not Criminally Responsible due to mental defect). I can't see how they would on this one but, it does happen often here in Canada. They're pretty soft on crime when it comes to the courts here.

All the EMS, Cops, fire people and even random people at the scene did an amazing job calmly trying to give aid to those injured and dying on the street. Big props to all those who were there giving assistance :89_clap:

So sad because it was just so random. Wrong place, wrong time and you were just mowed down :39_angry:

Never thought I'd see this here.  The sun was out after a long time, the day slightly warm and people were outdoors ... some very innocent people got hit.
