  1. When The Sarge is out in the backwoods, or mountains and canyons - if he wants to get connected just drive to the nearest town and look for the Golden Arches. Haven't found one yet that didn't have it. It's probably mandated by Corporate McOpCo that they provide it. They are everywhere. Everywhere. Easy Peasy
  2. Wifi everywhere. Pull into a McDonald's parking lot? Free wireless. Campgrounds? Wireless (free or not, depending). Hotel/motel parking lot? Free wireless with a room. Wireless access point to any device you'd like to connect inside your RV. Easy Peasy

Unlike baseball Unlike baseball, there IS crying in quitting. Easy Peasy
  4. "You can´t get rid of me ..." Guest_Suerose_* Yesterday, 10:44 AM " ... can't ..." ? Easy Peasy
  5. It's 4 years since that photo album and, nope, she still won't ride. She'll do off-road in anything on 2, 3, or 4 wheels but won't do 2 wheels on actual roads with traffic. She's not afraid of the bike, she's afraid of the other traffic. Bummer that. Easy Peasy
  6. These are The Sarge's Babies (Click Me)... Easy Peasy
  7. It Has Come To The Sarge's Attention ... ... via the Status Updates that there are <gasp> : Folks out there in the world who do not know what a "Cheese Steak" is. The Sarge is Sad. Sad because he can no longer enjoy [1] Heaven On Earth and sad because there are folks who are unawares of such tasty pleasure. Here. Enjoy: FOOTNOTES: [1] Doctor's orders - healthy diet and all that
  8. Hell, Bakon, Hell, Bakon, 'round here they'll do it WHILE you're home. They'll tag-team it. Someone goes to the front door with some BS sales pitch that keeps you busy for 10 minutes trying to get away, while partner(s) in crime sneak in the side door / back window / cellar / garage / <whatever> ... knowing you're busy at the front door. Easy Peasy
  9. The Sarge collects vintage military firearms, and lives in a "Castle Doctrine" state. 'nuff said. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ Easy Peasy
  10. Bummer. If anyone wants to edit The Sarge, they'll have to do it themselves. He says what he means, and means what he says. Easy Peasy
  11. ... And she is here. Easy Peasy
  12. The Sarge believes that "forever" is kinda the whole point. Easy Peasy
  13. The Sarge is Right Here, of course Easy PEasy
  14. The Sarge tries to add a dozen trees to The Orchard every year. This year's have arrived. They had to come inside due to the snow night before last. Planting them today. This year we have: Ayers Pear, Moonglow Pear, Kikushi Asian Pear x 2, Sweet August Sensation Plum, Bruce Red Plum, Sweetheart Cherry, Super-Sweet Cherry, Red Haven Peach and O Henry Peach. 10 trees. Have two slots to fill in the Apple row. Was hoping for Honeycrisp and SweeTango ... but started the order too late in Feb and nobody had any ... maybe next year. We'll be two short of a dozen this year because Sarge doesn''t want to fill those two Apple slots with junk varieties. Will wait for the quality next year. Have to put the order in by Christmas, or get screwed again next year. Easy Peasy
  15. Joshua Tree update: The first one that popped is dying. Turning brown, failed to throw up a leaf. Ol' Number Two, however - he is looking green and good, and threw out his first leaf. For the first two years or so, the Joshua "Tree" is just gonna look like some blades of really weird desert grass. This is why we always do at least 3 seeds. (1) one of the 3 never germinated. (2) of the two that did, one is already dying less than two weeks into its short life. I pushed a couple more seeds into this pot this morning. Want at least two to make it through to next year. We'll decide which to chop if we can't get 'em separated when moving into a bigger pot.
  16. "Nothing to say" (paraphrased) OR "... nothing *of use* to say ..." (emphasis added) ... and yet you said it anyway. Easy Peasy EDIT: Quote corrected - happy now, Rob?
  17. The Sarge says: F*ck 'em. You've already spent more time than they're worth on this post alone. Easy Peasy
  18. "No Man's Land" is a myth. An irrational fear. In *exactly* the same way as The Boogie Man, it holds only imaginary power over you - IF YOU LET IT. Who wants to let the imaginary faerie-tale of The Boogie Man run their life, or their quit? Don't give it power over your life and you won't have a problem. You have a choice, y'know. Easy Peasy
  19. "Bob's Your Uncle" - Laurence Juber One of Sarge's favorite tunes by Juber[1]. Easy Peasy FOOTNOTES: [1] Couldn't find a video of Larry actually playing it, but this guy does an outstanting cover version, though.
  20. "I want to reach <forever> days quit." ftfy Easy Peasy
  21. The Sarge is nothing if not "predictable"[1] Easy Peasy FOOTNOTE: [1] Always has been, always will be. see that ^^^ a footnote!
