  5. It does get better @SD2026, each month will get a bit better and by the time you are at a year, you shouldn't have these withdrawal symptoms anymore. You may get an occasional urge but it's much different than the ones you are experiencing now. They are basically few and far between and go away in a few seconds to a couple mins. You will get there, just keep doing what you are doing!!

  7. Congratulations @SD2026 on 1 month smoke free! The most difficult month in the quit, IMO. You are doing really well and should be proud of yourself. Stay close to this forum and you will make it to the Lido deck before you know it. Onward to month 2.

  20. Welcome Back @Reciprocity When you forget that its your quitting anniversary, you know you are a true Non smoker! I think that is the turning point. Even though I know I am a non smoker, I know exactly how long I have been quit, and when my next quitting anniversary is. I hope when I am 9 years or sooner, I won't remember either!! So glad you had a wonderful vacation and that picture is absolutely gorgeous!! The water and palm trees look so amazing!!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
