  18. I'm sorry Laura, that really sucks. I don't blame you for being upset at all. I would be livid! For years when we were stressed, sad or mad we clung to our smokes in the belief they would help pull us through. That's why you feel like you want a cigarette now. It takes time to retrain your brain to not want a cigarette. Basically, your brain wants things the way they were because that's what it knows. The key here is to stick to NOPE no matter what. After all, just because you want to smoke does not mean you have to. Do something else to take your mind off it. Exercise is a great way to beat a crave back, even a just a walk. Take deep breaths, meditate, whatever it takes. Just don't smoke. In time, not only will you still be quit, but you will have made this trigger much less powerful and eventually it will go away completely.
  19. Me too! I'm secretly living via Sarah. Would it be wrong to ask her to snap pics?

  22. I was wondering where you were hiding! I should have known you would be in the toothbrush thread!
  23. Stay, Please Evelyn. I don't know when you'll have a quit that lasts but I can tell you that it's not likely without support. We want to help.
