  1. Good job hopping back on! The quit train stops for passengers anytime, day or night. All you need is to want to quit smoking. That's the secret to success, you have to want to and you have to be willing to fight for it no matter what!! Stop listening to the addiction when it tells you that one more won't hurt or you'll do it tomorrow. The reality is that today IS tomorrow. You got this!! So happy you are here with us. :)
  2. That is awesome! You are rounding the corner for sure. :)
  3. Likes Alex and Sierra, Allen Carr and watching the sun rise with his coffee in the morning. He's a little stubborn, extremely honest and not too proud to admit when he's wrong. He likes Dogs! He likes to give Ava a hard time, or is it the other way around?!
  4. Me too, I yelled at my girls last night and I don't normally do that. I could def use an attitude adjustment.
  5. Beautiful dog and little girl!! Dogs and children can form such special bonds.
  6. Enjoy your day my friend.

Awesome to "see" you Mel! I cannot imagine the stress involved in moving to Alaska with only 4 months to plan. Alaska is close in terrain to Maine, a bit colder and we don't have polar bears!! My brother lived there a few years, working on the boats. Is your family keen on the outdoors? Hunting and fishing? It does not get any better than Alaska for that. :) A thread or journal would be awesome! Pics too!

  14. Paula, you are a strong lady and you will do just fine on your own. You deserve so much more than a relationship like that. Moving on means that you have now left the door open to one day begin a new and healthy relationship. Big hugs! xx

I cried more than I have in my life, the first couple of months I quit. It's completely normal. Give it some time and I promise that smoking will be far from your mind. In the mean time, work on creating new habits to battle those craves when they come. Good job posting about what you're feeling. Take smoking off the table. Not one puff ever or N.O.P.E.
  25. Welcome to the Quit Train and congratulations to you and your husband for deciding to quit smoking! This is the best decision you will ever make. :)
