The purpose of this group is to support each other and encourage each other to keep our quits, and not through sarcasm or shaming. I don’t know Sgt. Barney, (though he shares his name with my dog 😂, whom I love very much), but I ‘m pretty sure I don’t want to, if that’s the kind of advice he gives to people who are struggling.

Also power walking: 2 twenty minute sessions per day. I have gotten my heart rate up to mid 130’s, which is good for my age. Also, I have lost 8 pounds, since I have started, which is a relief, as I was afraid quitting smoking would cause weight gain. It is starting to get hot, so I am going to buy a treadmill, so I can continue during the heat of Summer.
