  9. I was tired of hiding my dirty little secret, tired of spending money on something that was killing me, tired of going out into the cold to smoke, tired of a stained fingers, tired of that terrible taste in my mouth, tired of being a slave to my addiction, and the list goes on and on...

  17. Oh Steven, so sorry to hear this but don't hate on yourself. I hope you have found a good therapist and they are able to help you with your troubles. I think most addicitions are coping mechanisms and it can be very difficult to learn to cope with the difficulties in life in healthier ways. The important thing is to not give up and it's obvious that you haven't because every time you have relapsed, you have gone right back to quitting. Good on you for seeking professional help. I hope it gives you what you need to stay on track and address your health issue.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
