  1. We had to start putting our paper towels under because of the cat and she gets so mad when she can't unwind them. It's a crack up hearing the roll spin round and round by her, even if a few of them end up as casualties of her nails lol.
  2. Definitely over. Bird is right, it tears much easier and looks better. Especially if you do one of those fancy triangles on the end after you clean the bathroom. AND since my cat prefers unwinding the kitchen paper towels instead of toilet paper, I don't have to worry about putting it under because that would irritate the fvck out of me lol
  3. Fishing for a compliment
  4. Have a great time @Linda Thomas and now that you've quit smoking you can afford that hotel room and parking easier
  5. Thank you for this great post Jo. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that we love you, and are so happy to see you succeed with your quit And I'm glad that you finally got to start the +1/-2 game lol ?

    Bahh!

We can't undo years of smoking in a matter of months MLMR. Believe it or not, you are right where you should be this far into your quit. That's why we have the one year commitment. It's to help us past most of the triggers that happen over the course of the year. My whole first year was pretty hard so trust me when I say that you are doing great. Keep NOPING and keep putting one foot in front of the other and you'll get there too

    Bahh!

It'll pass MLMR, you've done good by posting. This is a nasty addiction no doubt about that but I promise you each time you beat one of these nasty craves you get stronger and they get weaker. Hang in there and just keep telling yourself this too shall pass
  8. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out
  9. Doesn't that lemon meringue look more like a tart?
  10. Straight out of Compton
  11. OMG, I had one of those too! Little Nike, she was so pretty and she'd jump on your lap to lay down and if you pet her more than a couple times her eyes would turn black, her tail whipping about and then she mauled! Not just a warning bite but a full on bite and rip. I bled so much from her but still loved and cared for that little witch lol. She got dementia when she was about 14 and died a year later ? This is little Nike
  12. straighten up and fly right
  13. I've had two cats of that breed, one a male and Tiki my female and both of them were/are one person cats. Tiki will take food from my husband but that's about it. Tucks her head under if he tries to pet her. So I don't think you being a male makes any difference. I think if my husband had of been the one who took care of her the tables would be turned. Here's my Tiki
  14. She's such a pretty kitty. My Tiki was wild when caught and she's turned into such a little love but it took years. I got her when she was about 11 months old. Give her time, she looks to be the same breed as Tiki and they're very loving kitties. Thanks for rescuing her
  15. Congratulations on 5 months quit jayhawk!
  16. Hope your appointment with the specialist goes well @notsmokinjo. Let us know, xoxo
  17. Don't go away mad, just go away....lol
  18. Sorry I'm late, congratulations Martian, 11 months is huge! Glad you celebrated and even bought yourself something
  19. I will post an SOS if I feel myself caving to a crave!
  20. Up, up and away
  21. You got this sparky!
  22. Negative, I'd be his cougar lol
  23. It's funny though because my friends who have a really hard time losing weight have no sympathy for me who can't gain weight but expect me to be sympathetic to them lol. I tell you I need to marry your son lol
  24. It's not really lucky though @Doreensfree and @Linda Thomas because if I don't eat much one night then I lose a pound or two that fast ? My dr. says that my body metabolizes food really fast. But it sucks because it's so easy to lose all the weight that it takes me a lot of work to put on ?
  25. I am on a two week fast food daily regime to try to gain weight. So far I have almost one week down. I'm not much of a fast food eater so I'm hoping this works!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
