  4. My husband ended up just driving by the bar yesterday to see if his friend was lying. He wasn't lying but luckily my husband doesn't want to take that chance. Big relief except the idiots come over here after the bar 😠 The fire Marshall went in and told them they opulent be open and the owner flipped him off and told him he needed the money. Our dining rooms were allowed to reopen as long as they could follow strict guidelines including social distancing. And hair salons and barbers are also open now too.

  20. Welcome again nana, you have a great new reason to quit for good so congratulations on both deciding to take back your freedom and your new grandson 😊 We have many members who successfully quit using Chantix so as long as you take it as recommended you will be one more success story 😊 Most of us also felt like we couldn't quit smoking, it was just too hard until we did and now looking back we can say heck, that wasn't so gard! Was that first year miserable? For me yes but that doesn't mean you still can't succeed. We have lots of tips and tricks to help when things get sticky so please post whenever you feel you need some extra support of need to vent or just need the company.. 😊
  21. Welcome @Nana20 and congrats on taking back your life I quit once for three weeks with Chantix and found it worked really well until I stopped taking it earlier than recommended. I went right back to smoking. So please use it for the recommended time of I believe three months to ensure your success. And found if you eat something small before you take the pill it helps with the nausea
  22. You're doing great Heather, I was glued to my forum 24/7 my first year lol. I really believe that being surrounded by people who got what I was going through really helped me get and keep my forever quit. About the outdated videos, do you mean the links don't work? We'll have to take a look at them and update if that's the case
  23. Welcome back Lilley, sorry to see that you gave up that awesome quit you had going. Unfortunately a fresh account isn't going to do anything for you if you don't put in the effort. Maybe you should look back at your other account and read the posts there. Maybe find what led you astray?
  24. Yes @HeatherDianne, a LOT of us felt that way at 3, 6, and 9 months quit. That's why taking the One Year Pledge helps so much. It truly takes a full year to get through MOST of the triggers and craves. Use us, keep asking the questions you have, take it one day at a time and don't look too far into the future. That's why we NOPE everyday and not just once and done! Each time you think you want to get in your car and go for a cig come here instead and post. We will knock some sense into you and talk you off the ledge. But it only works if you truly want it to.
  25. Glad to see you back on the train John. Bad things are going to happen, bad things ARE happening so why add a cigarette related illness to it right?! Nicotine will use any excuse it can find to weasel it's way back into our lives. We need to think like never smokers do when these things happen. A cigarette never crosses their minds, ever..... Glad your back, stick close this time
