  1. Congratulations on four months quit today Linda, that's fantastic! I love reading your positive thoughts thread and your support of others. I hope you celebrate you today
  2. So you weren't thinking about retirement then I guess?
  3. @Robbie, when I was newly quit I seemed obsessed with it too. I thought of it all day long, woke up thinking about it, went through all the phases of grief from losing it... And there's a lot more of us who were the same so you're totally normal. We're getting "clean" from our addiction so you feeling that way is totally normal and won't last forever
  4. Very nice @Boo, I would guess you can pretty much go anywhere you want with it
  5. What kind of inhaler opah? You have to remember that we smoked for a lot of years so it could be that we have triggers for the rest of our lives. The difference is that with time quit they are just small annoyances and easily pushed away
  6. Congratulations on three months quit Ace, that's awesome!

  10. Sorry you had a rough night last night @Robbie, and yes it will get better, it just takes time. You're doing great so try to reward yourself with something just for you. And if your depression gets too hard to handle please call your Dr and let them know. A lot of times even just a temporary med until your body readjusted itself helps
  11. Congratulations @Robbie, you should be super proud of yourself
  12. Yes @Dianne it will and does get so much better You are doing great and just remember that everything you're going through is normal and temporary as your body and mind detox
  13. Hopefully they can just make it part of the flu vaccine I get every year....

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
