I love people watching too.....fascinating..... I find if I watch men at work.and just see how they hold that cig and smoke it to the tip with thumb and finger ,sucking on it with all thier might to get the last drag......it reminds me of how grateful I am to have quit..... Then I look at the young people and wish they would quit before the bad stuff comes..... I know I will never smoke again.....

Emphysema.....it distroys your lungs slowly over the years.....no cure..... As most of you know here....my hubby has to spend 16 hours a day on oxygen..... He spends many a time in hospital.chest infections,pheumonia..... This brought on by smoking..... If anyone reads this who is sitting on the fence..... Come and join us on the quit train..... You can do it.....we have.....

Wow marti, I always find it amazing when you look at our tickers and actually see it written there.....how many cigs were have not smoked... It's always a good reason to shout out..... Well done Hugs

I did buy her the full,session of Allen Carr clinic.....5 DVD,s.....About 9 months back.... She hasn't even taken the wrapper off.... She does say ,she is proud of me.....but that's as far as it goes.... Maybe one day...... Hugs

My friend and I went shopping together.... When we had paid for the goods,she pointed out to me how expensive it was to eat these days.... Of course I agreed.... Then she went to the cig counter and gave them happily another 20 pound note for just 2 packets ,that would only last the weekend.... I was just so happy I didn't have to do that anymore.....I walked out with a proud smile on my face...
