I spent my entire adult life smoking.... When I quit I was like a toddler learning for the first time...... Everything was new to me with out a cig in hand..... Well done tiff.....you have won a battle....... Hugs

Well done tiff,for coming here and getting it all out..... What your feeling is so normal......when I first quit,I was angry at the world.....my emotions were all over the place.... Did I cry.....you bet I did,and heaps of it...... Some days just screaming all the stuff your hear here...n.o.pe....smoking is not on the table ect....is all I could manage...... But I said to myself no matter what I feeling,no matter how bad I wouldn't smoke...... The folks who had been there before me said it would get easier,I trusted them...... The shouting got less ,the angry days got less.....and one day I reolized I'm lovin this quit,and started to protect it at all costs... Be patient ,your body has to adjust.....it will happen ,now I'm making that promise to you...... Take it nice and steady.....one minute at a time if need be.... We are all here for you.... Hugs

Tiff MQ is so right, My hubby and I smoked together all our marriage,we are both retired now,are we having a lovely time together,doing all the nice things you want to do after working all your life .....no..... Hubby has to be attached to a oxygen machine 16 hours of every day,just take a moment of your time to try and imagine what this entails,and if it was you..... I joined the board because I was in danger of having both my feet amputated......try and picture that too. It's so important you keep your quit..... Please don't smoke tiff.....you have the chance here.....not to end up like us...... Hugs

I had 4 tests too before I passed at 50yrs old.....I was such a nervous driver....plenty of tears here too,it took me just over two years of lessons.....geez....

Hi babs.... Of course I understand you....its still hard for to watch nicky go home,so far away When your baby finally leaves the nest,it takes time to adjust..... But it's also a wonderful feeling watching them grow into fine men and women..... How proud of him you must feel..... He will look so handsome I'm his uniform,and yes you will shred a tear or two.... I wish him every sucess in his new adventure.... Hugs
