  9. I have done some looking at blowers and the Roush is king for now. Safe for internals too. There is bigger but at risk of hurting the stock insides. I run a Roush off road exhaust. Cat back system. Didn't want a tuner so need to keep the cats and o2 sensors stock. Nice sound. We have done 100 miles as furthest trip so couldn't say there is any drone if on a long one. Hit the 143 mph cut off even without more mods. And she is only a 300 hp rated girl

  14. We pulled Sally out a week ago. Girl is ten and only 11k miles. Thought about a newer one for a minute then I look at my new 10 year old girl and say no. So I understand the basic over the loaded. She is loaded for an older girl but still not a 416 hp girl!!! Then I think for 1/5 the price of new, 8k/40k, she could get a blower and be a 560 hp girl. Then I think 8k on yours goes north of 650 hp! Someone will say anything over 300 hp is a waste, until you drive 400 or 500 hp. Like boobs, never too much

  16. Everyone hit the big points. I just want to address the "missing something" and never again feeling you said it felt like a loss or a depression. Smoking introduces thousands of chemical combinations to the body. It adjusted to the best it could be with those being pumped in. Nicotine then gave a little shot of dopamine for each puff. Then it wore off and you had another smoke to feel good again. Then it wore off and repeat this cycle for years. Five days later you are still fighting. It will be that way for a period of time. You will need to fight. But each crave or fight will be weaker than the last. You beat the hardest ones already. So what I am saying is it's not easy but it is easier every moment. Easier this afternoon than yesterday afternoon. But back to missing something. Those chemicals have to leave your body. They will mess up your morning poo to give you a pimple to upset your stomach to make you hungry and fatter. They also mess up sleep and make us miserable for a week or two. That's how it works. But they are also leaving every moment and soon enough normal returns. Dopamine is given out at proper times and you don't need a hit of it every hour. That normal you felt a few minutes after a smoke....that relaxed "I am ok" thing is our every moment feeling. No dopamine needed to feel it and when we exercise the dopamine feels extra good. But we are not sitting around years after quiting feeling like we miss something. We have it all the time. Smokers are the ones who only have a little bit of it

  24. Three years of Ginger is not as dumb as we look. She taught us to repair cars with duct tape and other strange tricks. Her counting methods are unique. Hair dye and cheating aside, she is good with a snow shovel and yoga pants. We are lucky to have her

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
