  13. Will be loosing Tasha for an hour a week again for the foreseeable - blimey, she loves this program so much, she goes into her own little world while watching it!
  14. I 100% agree with this - definitely a journey and not an event!
  15. It’s been a whole year for our Sue(Be-Doo). And what a beautiful person she is both inside, and out. I remember when we first met, and quickly became friends, quit buddies ;) I remember that you really helped me through that Christmas period, and you would be one of the major factors of me keeping my quit! Then… you disappeared! I can’t remember exactly how long you were gone, but I think it was about 3 months?! I was really upset that I’d lost my quit buddy and friend, with no way of getting in touch. Then, at around the 6 months mark (I think), you came back (after some technical difficulties), and I was over the moon! You still had your quit, and you were still going strong :) What a year it has been for you – plenty of ups and down’s, but you have stayed your usual strong self, and inspired many people here with your great personality and gentle soul. Sometimes some people can’t understand what you are saying, but that just adds to the charm  LOL. Looking forward to you making a speech about your journey ;) I am so, so happy for you, and you must be so proud! I knew from that start that you’d get here, no doubts what-so-ever. You are such an important part of the quittrain, and much loved by all. Love you lots, like jelloytots
  16. I have no doubt that we will end up going to see this... Hopefully it can keep me going while I wait (for what seems like an eternity) for - The Last Voyage of Demeter...
  17. Funny you should say that - we saw the trailer for it today... Tasha said she won't watch it because it's not 'proper' Dracula... I bet her a tenner she would still go see it... money in the bank I reckon ;) ETA - sorry I know that's not very helpful to you Marti, lol
  18. Wonderful news - look at you reinventing yourself :)
  19. Well done Sam! I'm really happy to see you break the one month barrier - it's a really big deal, and you are well on your way to being free from cigarettes forever! Hope you do something lovely to celebrate ;)

    Love our Sue :)
  21. Junkie thinking just plain sucks, but the only way to make it go away is to try to ignore it, or tell at it to shut up. Why don't you go out and treat yourself to something nice? Spoil yourself, and try not to worry too much about all the stuff that's happening right now - I know, easier said than done, but possible... You can do this!
  22. Laura... As you said yourself, smoking will not 'fix' any if these things. In fact, it will just add another item to the list if things that make you feel bad - smoking right now will make you feel even worse than you do already. Everybody has a bad day every now and then - even nonsmokers!! What are you doing at the moment?
  23. Seriously though, have you decided what you will do to celebrate, buy yourself something fancy? Go for an expensive meal? ;)
  24. NOPE from me Evelyn :)
  25. Is Neighbours the one with Seth Rogan? It's called Bad Neighbours here, and it's bloody hilarious ;)
