  14. Congratulations @Gus on an amazing 5 years smoke free! Halfway to a decade! You must be so proud! Make sure you reward yourself, it's well deserved!
  15. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed that instead of looking away from someone smoking, I now find myself watching the way they smoke, in particular focusing on the inhale and exhale. I'm not always having a craving in these moments, I'm just simply taking it in. It's not that I want to smoke, this just feels different. I'm not worried about it as such but it does make me wonder why I've gone from not wanting to see people smoking to this. I was hoping it was a once off but it's two weeks now. It doesn't happen every single time, just when people are around me for a period of time (unavoidable) so rest assured I'm not stalking smokers I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else experiences this and if yes, how long did it last. Or if it's just meeeee! It's not a major deal, like I said I'm not worried about it, just curious. I also realise it may sound creepy but I'm pretty sure I'm subtle about it so that the smokers don't feel uncomfortable!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
