  6. It does get better @SD2026, each month will get a bit better and by the time you are at a year, you shouldn't have these withdrawal symptoms anymore. You may get an occasional urge but it's much different than the ones you are experiencing now. They are basically few and far between and go away in a few seconds to a couple mins. You will get there, just keep doing what you are doing!!
  7. Thanks All! It sure has been a month of ups and downs but I keep telling myself it can only get better!

  10. Congrats on 3 months @GonSo!! Evenings were tough for me, too… as were vacations. “Downtime” without nicotine was an adjustment. But it keeps getting better. And you now have 3 months of living proof that you don’t need those nasty smokes! Onward and upward!
  11. Congratulations on 1 month smoke free @SD2026 You are making it through the toughest part. Keep up the great work.

  19. Congratulations @SD2026 on 1 month smoke free! The most difficult month in the quit, IMO. You are doing really well and should be proud of yourself. Stay close to this forum and you will make it to the Lido deck before you know it. Onward to month 2.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
