  13. Alas, the Nic O. Demon is helping you build the concrete foundation to make your quit stronger. Smile and say "Thank You" to the smuck. Or maybe not ... .

  18. Mine went around 5 years ago, right in the middle of Covid and my plumber had a hard time getting one, but thankfully he was able to. The bad thing about the water heaters is that they don't give you any warning that they are breaking. One day they work fine, the next day you have water all over your basement or garage. Nope, Stew, that Nickodemon won't come and help you with anything except trying to get you to smoke again!!! Glad you are able to resist!
  19. I remember when mine hot water tank failed a couple of years ago. It was quite the unpleasant surprise but with me it wasn't during the early days of my quit. Those times of unexpected headaches really do test us and make it difficult to focus on anything else. Good for you @Stewbum for hanging on

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
