  13. Welcome @FinalAttempt so glad that you found us! I too have quit before, for 6 years. I truly believe that if I found this site back then, I would not have gone back to smoking. Support is the key to keeping your quit and you won't find a better support group than our members. You have already got a ton of great advice and I will just add a little bit more. Do the Daily Nope pledge every single day and keep close to this forum, and as many said, read as much info as you can. I truly believe staying close and doing the daily nope pledge will help you tremendously. I pledge Nope every day and will continue to do so. If you find yourself getting a bad urge where you want to throw in the towel, there is an SOS section. Since we are a group from all over the world, there is usually someone on most of the time. You can definitely do this!!

  18. Thank you everyone for your warm welcome and all the helpful advises. There's a lot of good info to absorb which is a good thing, will help to keep my mind occupied for awhile. I posted my first NOPE pledge today. Will come every day... one day at a time... Thanks again, I'm happy to be here and it's great to meet you all.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
