One month and fourteen days is truly awesome since the early days are the hardest. Yes, never look back cause you are no longer going that way. Keep it up one day, one week, at a time ... .

well smoked forever, I dont' even want to add up the years as I feel it is so embarrassing to me, I don't even want to know. All I want to know is the years free of it or rather at this time the months, which I'm at 1 month and 14 day wooooo hoooooo. I have tried quitting and thought about quitting a bunch of times before, but this time is really different, I am doing it, it has been the longest ever quit for me and I can't go back not ever, nope will not !! Oh so yes Minnie I went cold turkey, I thought about the gums and the patches and all that and thought for me it would be a crutch I didn't want. So thanks all for the inspiration, I feel better each day and feel more and more able to stay this way. woooohooo

so I saw a smoker this weekend she worked in a store and was outside on the side of the building out of view of the immediate public, I was thinking how smoking has become so taboo that the smokers are now hiding in the shadows. I remember myself being like that and don't ever want to go back to that. Stay strong like you are dvs51

you go Lola, so good that you took the challenge, I too am pretty new at this and together we all can accomplish the impossible lol !! Well at least the simple things of not smoking lol. I started at 1 Sept but yes almost the same as you, I think that one month is a significant date for me anyways. I plan on other little accomplishments for each month. Think of the money saved and the health benifits you get. I was getting winded going up stairs and walking. It already seems a bit better in that regard. Reach out if you need any support
