  3. Today makes three and a half years since I quit smoking. The time has really gone by fast. I am enjoying every minute of it. That part of my life is in the past now. I am looking to the future. I have come too far to go back to that nasty habit. I am so proud of how far I have come.

  16. Welcome back, @Britt! So glad that you are here and ready to break free of your nicotine addiction. We’re here to help by answering questions, by offering moral support through your ups and downs, and by distracting you with the occasional game, recipe or silly joke. Please keep us posted on how things are going!
  17. Happy Lucky #13 @Paul723!! So glad that you’re living your best smoke free life!!
  18. We can't say for sure but one reason you've been able to enjoy some of those things you mentioned doing in retirement was likely due in part at least to quitting. I know I've spent $$ travelling since I retired that otherwise would have been spent of cigs. That's just one of many things that makes quitting such a great idea!

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
