April 21, 201412 yr I can't get in either, changed my IP address three times and logged on from a different computer. This might be the big change they were talking about a week or so ago. Bet we are in for a big surprise when they reappear LOL

April 21, 201412 yr I'll deny I said this, but this is a golden opportunity to get them in trouble with the search engines, lose their ranking etc. Just go to Google, Bing, or Yahoo, type in "quit smoking message board" until you get the link, then click on it over and over and over and over again for the next two or three hours or days. Each time you do this, the error message is registered at the search engine servers. It might not make any difference but it couldn't hurt. No, it wont' hurt their site, just their ranking and maybe more people will come here instead.

April 21, 201412 yr I just sent an email to Google asking why they are listing websites that don't exist. Bing and Yahoo are a little more difficult to contact but plan to send one to them too. No, I'm not trying to get them "bannished" from the search engines, just a few "warning points" LOL

April 21, 201412 yr I had some drastic changes on my web page once and had to take it off for a few hours...that's no big deal...and you do it at times when you expect the least amount of traffic! So having it down on a Monday before Lunch is not too bad, they need to have it running for the Evening traffic (that would be my guess) If I have to do it to my own webpage...I do it in the middle of the night!

April 21, 201412 yr What other site? Haha Seriously mostly the only people I see there are the same ones I see here. I've been quit for 21 months and that place has been down for hours at a clip at least 20 times since I had joined it...and that may be a conservative guess. That can't be good for the newbies. Very irresponsible of them IMHO.
April 21, 201412 yr FYI, If this site is ever down, it's because of any upgrade and we'll send out mass emailings and will give plenty of notice. According to the programmer, he said that most the site should ever be down is a few hours and that would be in the middle of the night and ony if something "new and exciting happens". The only way this will happen, well, I can't say. Have to keep some things a surprise, right? :)
