December 21, 20169 yr Honestly Evelyn what a silly thing to do. I don't understand you want to quit then put yourself in that position, were you actually did...crazy, just crazy. When I wanted to lose my weight late Summer, which I did, I was serious and removed any temptation and avoided going out for meals. Sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do to reach your goal/target. Seriously get your head out yer arse and take this quitting lark seriously.
December 21, 20169 yr When I quit ..i stayed away from alcohol for months... You still have one foot in and one foot out..like the okeey kokeey...you need to put your whole self in..
December 21, 20169 yr Evelyn when are you going to take this seriously. Either you want to quit or you don't !! There is no in between. I just don't understand why you keep doing this to yourself ???
December 21, 20169 yr You know what's frustrating, as somebody following your quit journey? That you went through that very aggressive encounter (with your ex) and you sailed through it in truth. Then today you turn up informing us that you're stoned and have smoked. It beggars belief really.
December 21, 20169 yr Frustrating is right Sharon!!! Evelyn I would love to see you quit, I really would. The frustration is that you throw your quits away needlessly. To start of with, your quit should be the most precious thing, something that you devote all your time and effort on. Other thing have to be put on the back burner. Not forever but for a little while. If you cannot commit to this properly, there is no point. You call yourself the Queen of Nope, but you don't keep that promise. We can keep supporting you (and I would like to keep supporting you) but unless you commit, none of us can help you. This means change your lifestyle for a while, maybe forever. Depends. To put yourself in the position that you did today is madness. And you know this, so why do it??
December 21, 20169 yr When I quit ..i stayed away from alcohol for months... You still have one foot in and one foot out..like the okeey kokeey...you need to put your whole self in.. There's an old saying in boxing: "you either get all the way in or all the way out." Quitting smoking, with all the benefits that come with it, is worth going all in on. Anybody can quit. All that's required is 100% commitment and a willingness to endure a few momentary bouts of discomfort. Those that stay the course never regret the journey.
December 22, 20169 yr Maybe your not ready. Don't read into it too much but there is no commitment past a few posts.
December 22, 20169 yr Author I think I need to take a time off, and try to find balance. I'm sorry. I won't be back. I screwed up too much
December 26, 20169 yr Wow, I thought my Yule was an interesting day, just candles, intentions and chocolate. Drugs are never good buddy. Smoking is worse. You,literally know better, I really don't pretend to understand how this goes so wrong for you cause you already must see. Is it an attention thing, like honestly? Could we give you heathier attention somehow? Feel for you but no idea how to support you or this effort and that's my truth of it. Wish you could get it together as you seem to want it. No idea of the right thing to say. Lots of excuses, no digging deep. Only one way out of this and it's through it. Best of luck. x
