Just imagine this girl is a 50+ male with a deep voice and less hair...lol..I pronounce everything like she does and also answer the questions the same. Also, she is correct, that Northwest Ohio doesn't have much going for it except Cedar Point...lol.. I live near CP, but my nephew and his wife are teachers in Findlay. Capitalizing on recent news soundbites, I will adamantly say I do not sound like Sarah Palin.  In fact, no one in Alaska sounds like the unique buttercup.

 

Like Coloradans, Sourdough Alaskans are known to have a "neutral accent".  (unless you're Sarah, or from a native village).  Cheechakos have all kinds of accents.
