9.... watching movies with the kid... she is picking movies she thinks I will like... so far she is on a fail, 1 1/2 fails out of 2.... OH well she got me the best mothers day pressie so I'm happy and we had a yummy lunch at our favourite cafe.

I'm going to take issue with you here Fluffy. Back in "our" day a shilling was actually 12 pence.

 

It was only after decimalization that it became 5p. Which is why the old sixpence coins ended up being worth 2.5p.

 

Okay, I get it, I'm far older than you, let's just call it back in my day instead.
