October 17Oct 17 Hi allBack again after a multi year relapse. I was just reading through old posts and tbh feel pretty ashamed that I started again for zero reason. I was fine back then :(Anyway, I needed to travel to Taiwan (a 15 hour flight) last Sunday, and the thought of all of that time and stress without smoking was driving me crazy, so I informed my wife and kids I was stopping (which they've heard before) and Saturday 10th of October at 22:00 was my final cigarette ever.Im using patches and occasionally gum, and have just applied the stage 2 patch (14mg). It hasnt been fun, but on the other hand not as bad as I expected.Looking forward to sharing my quit with you all, and hearing all about yoursA xx

October 17Oct 17 Welcome back, Andy! Good decision. You know from your previous quit that the first days are no fun but that it very soon gets better. Focus on that.
October 17Oct 17 We never regret being quit. You did it before so you know you can do it again. No matter how bad I felt in the early sucky days I would remind myself that if I didn't smoke I would never have to go through it again. One last time to the road to freedom. Break those chains.
October 21Oct 21 GdayJust realised ….. we have the same quit date. Sat 10october. 11 years apart but don’t let the little details get in the way of a good story……
October 22Oct 22 Welcome back, Andy. We’ve all been there with failed quits. Good on you for facing forward and committing to your new quit. I look forward to getting to know you!!
October 22Oct 22 A positive mental attitude can help you with quitting. Celebrate each milestone and victory and the people here will celebrate with you.
October 22Oct 22 Welcome back @Andy75 I remember you on the forum years ago. I hope you are serious about your desire to get off the smokes and for good this time! You know it's not always an easy road and your will is going to be tested at times along the way so always keep that idea of why you're sick of smoking in mind and look toward the bright future you're creating for yourself ... never look back!
October 27Oct 27 Welcome back! Sucks to restart but I’m glad you did! I had several failed attempts. Make this one stick. Quitting is hard. Relapsing is easy. Quitting again is even more hard. Relapsing so easy. And so on and so on. Break the cycle. Stay quit. It is easier.
Friday at 06:04 PM4 days I quit for two years a long time ago and blew it when I was drinking one night. I am also back for a new quit. 😶
